Metro Radio is the North East’s biggest radio station and home of non stop hits and more music variety.  We broadcast from 55 North just off the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle upon Tyne.  We have almost 400,000 people tuning in each and every week. Our presenters include Tony Horne, Clive Warren, Brian Moore and Alan Robson. We broadcast across the North East playing music that can vary from Pink to Kings of Leon and from Take That to Rihanna!

We also famous for the best local traffic and travel with our very own helicopter piloted each weekday morning and afternoon, piloted by Captain Marky Mark. We have our very own charity based at the station. Cash For Kids which raises much needed funds for disabled and disadvantaged children right here in the North East.
