“I’m a thirty something, fun loving, german lager liking import from down south (well, Yorkshire – so I’m not a proper southerner). I’ve been at Metro Radio since 2006.

You can usually find me on air every Saturday afternoon between 2 and 6 and occasionally filling in for better paid presenters like Brian Moore.

When I’m not on Metro Radio, I enjoy playing the oldies on our sister station Magic 1152. You can catch me there every weeknight from 6.

Not being a native to the north east, I have total impartiality when it comes to football loyalties. If you ask me nicely, I might tell you what team I do support, but you won’t be impressed.

My taste in music is fairly eclectic. Favourite artists at the moment include Biffy Clyro and Amy Macdonald.

When I’m not on the radio, I enjoy running (I’ve completed the last two GNR’s). I’m also learning Spanish and have nearly completed a book. (It’s in English btw and it’s a young adult fantasy novel).
