The Cash for Kids 3 Peaks Challenge will take place on the 6-9th September 2012

The challenge is an attempt to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 'one go' to raise money for Cash for Kids so we can help disabled and disadvantaged local children. These peaks are Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.

We aim to complete the mountains in a time of 13 hours - Ben Nevis in 5 hours, Scafell Pike in 4 hours and Snowdon in 4 hours, however this will depend upon the speed of the group. The overall trip takes longer than 13 hours as you need to transfer by road to each mountain along the way.

This is a tough event and people participating should have the necessary fitness. The course is guided by qualified mountain leaders and our driver will be with you all of the way! If you would prefer to do the challenge over 3 days (with sleep in between!) this is also available.

The deposit is £150 for the standard challenge or £200 for the 3 day challenge, and you will be expected to raise a minimum of £600 (1 day) or £700 (3 day) in sponsorship at least 4 weeks before the event date. We have 30 spaces available, please download and complete the registration form and post to the indicated address.

Before registering please look through the training plan, the kit list and itinerary*.

*Best efforts will be made to adhere to the itinerary, however this is subject to change due to conditions, weather, fitness of participants or other factors. Accommodation is based on 2 people sharing – if Single Occupancy is required you will need to arrange this in advance and there will be an added charge.
