Last night at the swanky launch event at the Savoy Hotel in London, the BRIT Awards 2013 nominees were unveiled.
The biggest success story of the past 18 months, Emeli Sandé unsurprisingly leads the charge with three prestigious nominations – British Female Solo Artist, British Single and Mastercard Album of the Year.
Muse, Plan B, Rita Ora, Jessie Ware, Ben Howard, Coldplay, Paloma Faith and Olly Murs all received two nominations each.
Also up for gongs are Rihanna, The Rolling Stones, Lana Del Rey, The Vaccines, One Direction, Taylor Swift and Alicia Keys.
They’ll all battle it out for the Damien Hirst designed BRIT Awards statue at London O2 Arena on Wednesday 20th February.
