Robbie Williams has been pretty busy recently, getting a number one album and breaking some records on the way, so it was a surprise to hear that he was snubbed by two hit-makers in favour of 22-year-old Harry Styles.
According to the superstar who was talking to the Radio Times for their Christmas issue, he wanted to work with Bruno Mars and Swedish producer Max Martin, but neither wanted to. "They literally didn’t return my calls," he said.
However Robbie continued, "Then I met Harry Styles in an airport."
Harry said to Robbie, "I just spent a week with Bruno Mars, and I'm about to spend a week with Max Martin."
Robbie admitted in the interview he had to pretend to be happy for him saying, "You’re the new me. Good luck!"

So, by the sounds of it we should be expecting some new music from Harry and Bruno, what a combination that would be! Potentially there is also a hit in the making from songwriter and producer Max Martin who penned 'I Kissed a Girl' with Katy Perry and worked on Britney's first three albums.
Harry Styles has yet to release his debut solo album which is expected next year, following in the footsteps of his former bandmates Zayn Malik and Niall Horan.
Robbie Williams recently received a Brits Icon Award and became the most successful UK solo artist ever with 12th albums to hit the top spot.
