Metro Radio and Boulevard are pleased to support one of the country’s largest free LGBT festivals at Newcastle’s Times Square and Newcastle Town Moor!

From Friday 18th - Sunday 20th July, Newcastle Pride returns to the region with a newly extended three-day line up, featuring a host of live music and entertainment.

For the first time in the festival’s seven year history, this will include both a main stage at the Town Moor, playing host to performers including Shayne Ward and the Vengaboys, along with a second stage at the heart of the city centre at Times Square.

Friday 18th will be held at Newcastle's vibrant gay scene in Times Square from 6.30pm -10pm (wristband entry only - free of charge from Times Sqaure bars and Town Moor site during the day).

This year's parade will start at Newcastle Civic Centre on Saturday 19th at 12pm (meet at 11.30am) and parade down Northumberland Street, up Percy Street and on to The Town Moor. This years parade theme is "Pride Across the Decades".

Saturday 19th will be fun packed, with a great line-up on the main stage, which includes Shayne Ward!

Sunday 20th will also provide an exciting main stage line-up, with performers such as The Vengaboys!

Gates open Saturday 19th at 12.15pm and the main stage starts at 12.30pm, with a DJ set and kicking into full swing from 1pm-6pm. Sunday 20th gates open at 10.15am, with acts on main stage from 11am- 5pm.

The Times Square stage will be running from 6.30pm – 10pm Friday and Saturday, (July 18 and 19) and from 5.30pm to 8.30pm on Sunday (July 20) to ensure visitors have time to travel across from the other events at the Town Moor.
