Hi – It’s Gaynor and I’m the Producer of the Nightowls Show. This is my dream job. I listened to Alan Robson as a child doing my homework or not which was normally the case. Since then I’ve always wanted to work in the media Industry. I started off as a dancer (you wouldn’t believe it now) and attended RTS dance school for 14 years before moving to Manchester for University. Whilst at University I got a job as the resident DJ and had my own Radio Show on the Student Radio. I’ve worked all over and finally made it back to my home town to work for my favorite radio station – Metro Radio.

When did you join Nightowls: March 2011

Favourite Drink: Tea (Ringtons) Banana Shake (became addicted whist traveling and miss it) And of course I love a little tipple especially Long Island Ice Tea and a Sailor Jerry’s and coke.

Favourite Pastime: Traveling, DJ’ing, Dancing (Like no one is watching) and spending time with family friends. My prefect day out would be a picnic/B.B.Q in the park with friends.

Favorite Music Star: Lady Gaga, Prince, Queen, Adele and many more…….

Best Album: This is too hard – But I love Dance Classics and Old School. Also love a bit of Euphoric Chillout (Ministry of Sound)

Favourite Food: I love Seafood especially prawns, homemade soup and steak but I’m terrible cook so I mostly live off Pizza’s.

Best restaurant/Club: Sketch in London. Most Places in the North East including The Waterline (because I love the view) Landmark and the Vineyard. 

Favourite Movie: Pretty Woman and Bridget Jones – I love Chick flicks.

Favourite Star: Julia Roberts and Johnny Depp

Things you love: Family, Friends, Adventures, Challenges, New Experiences, Traveling and relaxing on the beach. 

Things you hate: Rude People, Gossips, Brown Nosers, Liars, Bad Manners and cockroaches

Part of your body you’d change: Feet – they smell bad!!!!

Best Holiday: So many – Thailand 07 South East Asia 09 Vegas 10 & 11 Ibiza and Croatia 11

Worst Pain: Having my Wisdom teeth removed – Ouch!  

Married/Single/Children: Single with no Children.

Things that make you laugh: My Friends, Absolutely Fabulous an The Vicar of Dibley.

Last thing to make you cry: Finding out 37% of my body is fat……

Favorite TV Shows:  Soaps, Absolutely Fabulous, Alan Carr, Downton Abbey and Jonathon Ross.

Most embarrassing experience: I recently moved home with my parents and they forgot to mention we now have a window cleaner. I was getting ready, listening to music, breaking a few moves with only my pants on when I spun round to find the window cleaner attempting to clean the windows. It gets worse. I ran out of my room to the office in the back where another guy was cleaning that window. Not a nice sight.
